wednesday nights @ harvest

"That you may prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may have cause to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain."

Philippians 2:15-16

In this 8 week elective, Dr. Paul Yu, professor at GVSU, will introduce and share real-life examples of how these cultural ideas are in the fabric of our society. We will explore ways in which Christ's Church can engage these ideas in a thoughtful and meaningful way. In a lecture, discussion, Bible study format, Dr. Yu will use D.A. Carson's book, The Gagging of God: Christianity confronts pluralism, to guide the discussion about what it means to be a follower of Christ in a 'world' which thinks that all ways lead to 'heaven'.
