Proclaiming the authority of God's Word without apology - 2 Timothy 4:2
Lifting high the name of Jesus in Worship - John 4:23-24
Believing firmly in the power of prayer - Ephesians 6:18
Here at Harvest Bible Chapel we believe that we experience God’s power when we are dependent upon Him. God is attentive and hears our prayers (1 Peter 3:12, Psalm 34:15). He tells us to ask for wisdom (James 1:5) when we lack knowledge. He offers power to those who are in need of strength to live their lives (Colossians 1:11). He hears all requests made that are in line with His perfect will (1 John 5:14) and whatever we ask we can be confident that we will receive it from Him (1 John 3:21, 22). The more time we invest in prayer, the more likely we are to observe and experience the supernatural power of God. “The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much” (James 5:16).Therefore, believing firmly in the power of prayer, while acknowledging our dependence upon Him, prayer is a pillar upon which our church is built.
Sharing the Good News of Jesus with boldness - Ephesians 6:19-20
Here at Harvest Bible Chapel we seek to demonstrate and communicate the love of God both to the believer and the unbeliever. It is out of love for the unbeliever and with a desire to be obedient to God's Word that we seek to be both salt and light by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. We do this by living out our faith before our family, friends, and neighbors, taking every opportunity to serve and share Christ's love with them.
